Christmas Lights

It's past my bedtime,
But out I go.
Out in the dark
And cold
And snow.
Out in this darkest
Of wintry nights.
Out in the dark --
To see the lights!

Is it Christmas yet, God?

Christmas is coming I know --
But when?
When the tree is up,
Is it Chrstmas then?
Is it Christmas when presents
Are piled up high?
Or when stars go dancing?
And angels fly?
When Christmas comes, I'll know --
But how?
Is it Christmas yet, God?
Is it now? ... Now? ... NOW?

Here we go ...

So we finally caught the blogging bug.
Admittedly, the bug bit after our hands were severely cramped and our tongues glued in our mouths from preparing Christmas cards. We thought there simply must be a better way to keep in touch ... more than once a year, at least! No promises on the frequency of updates or level of thrilling data; however we do promise to share little glimpses of our life: whether it be Joe at the keyboard, Lis at the laundry or the girls in their glory (ie: dressing up!) ... whatever it is, whether mundane or marvelous, we hope to keep better connected to you, our friends and family.
Merry Christmas!
